Trivial justice for Wile E!

Beloved Wile, who has endured the pain inflicted by the laws of cartoon physics - wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
1) Any body suspended in space will remain in space until made aware of its situation. (The character walks off the edge of a cliff, remains suspended in midair, and doesn't fall until he looks down)
2) Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter (the "silhouette of passage").
3) Certain bodies can pass through solid walls painted to resemble tunnel entrances; others cannot. (Corollary: Portable holes work).
4) All principles of gravity are negated by fear. (i.e., scaring someone causes them to jump impossibly high in the air).
5) Any violent rearrangement of feline matter is impermanent. (In other words, cats heal fast and/or have an infinite number of lives) .
6) Everything falls faster than an anvil. (A falling anvil will always land directly upon the character's head, squashing him flat or driving him into the ground)
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwand weathered all that physical abuse over the seasons (some say he is the most physically abused cartoon character ever), the writers decide to give him a consolation which I am unhappy about -
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I SCREAM FOR JUSTICE!!!

Disjointed am I?

Why is it so Victorian? Granted there is more leeway but I do not consider this as compensation to what essentially is conventional which we are trying to redefine; not reform. Reform is the word. A word that is abused to an extent where its meaning has become mundane. Mundane - is exactly what I refuse to be a part of. A part of a mass delusion where mediocrity is acceptable. Acceptable: not a word I would settle for. Settle, is to fall slowly to a stable position, usually on a surface or the ground - something I don't want to fall into or onto. Falling. Funny word that is. It can be associated with something physical or emotional with the same metrics but with no units. To be associated is something I like; gives me a feeling of exclusivity. A feeling which I am not sure if it is real or true. If only some of the things I want be true. And by that, I do not necessarily mean worldly things. Necessity is the mother of all inventions they say. False. And who are 'they' anyway? Anyway, 'they' see the world through tinted glasses. Like we all don't? We do, don't we? And we blame 'others' for being shortsighted. 'Others' are people you/I don't know. Don't know is an unacceptable corollary in this age. We do know; its just that we choose to fake to ignore. Ignore and be obtuse. To be, or not to be, someone or something. In the same capacity, choices fail to flatter me. They fail to deceive. Inspite of which I fail to flatter. Failure is not due to one's incapacity. Or not just that. Its just that failure is looked poorly upon. Which is poor. What a shame. That we don't know that acceptable or unacceptable, true or false, real or fake are all the same things with no tinted glasses.

Bottoms up.

Trying to steer two enormous elephants to the other side of the fence and each of the them has a tendency to draw tangents and/or lines with infinite slopes. Its not like riding a horse; cause horses dont think: they are explicit(just see the user manual on horses). So when the jumbos know something's on them, their trajectories can be discontinuous thereby causing a singularity at their bottoms. Having said that, I strongly believe gravity is not a weak force (I just simplified string theory and now we don't need a unified theory). If anything is left of me after a month, I'll blog again.
Under and out.

Who's paranoid?

Ever been bitten by bugs so badly that every time your own hand grazes your face or neck you check for millions of bugs running all over your skin? (also blame Hollywood for this psychosis)
Ever been electrocuted severely before that every time you touch something sharp or cold, your hand recoils at 'lightning speed' and you can swear on everyone's grave that you really got electrocuted again?
Ever been screamed at by someone in a car that was so startling that from then on you look into every motorist's eyes like a basilisk to see if they will yell at you or not?
Ever seen a super sized African killer bee in a movie (that cannot be killed by fire) that from that moment onwards even a plain old mosquito looked ominously gargantuan?

If you've answered yes to any of the above questions, then phew. I guess I am not the only one paranoid after all. If else, now that I have made you cognizant of the potential situations, welcome to paranoid city!

We Love You Arsenal We Do - Tribute to Aaron Ramsey

Arsenal's victory over Stoke City today was bitterly painful. Ramsey's horrific injury in the second half was reminiscent of Dudu's injury exactly two years back which destroyed the team, destroyed the BPL hopes, destroyed the captain and battered the Gunners in all senses. To see a team mate lying in a mangled heap in pain that no one can imagine is just too much to take. Today's horrific injury to Ramsey brought back the nightmares of two seasons gone past.

No Gooner would ever ever like to see such things happen to a Gunner or anyone else for that matter. It is also extremely painful to see the whole team devastated on the pitch after witnessing something as disturbing as that ( twice including Dudu's horrific injury two seasons back ). The team fought back to win 3-1 and from then on to put their noses firmly back into the title race. A victory that could potentially put the Gunners on course ( hopefully ) for the league title - only drastically overshadowed by the nasty incident to the 19 year old Welshman. The team showed character. Or should I put in other words - the 'kids' showed character. For all those who still like to call the Gunners - kids; no other team would have gone through such traumatic experiences to bounce back playing some of the most beautiful and exciting football in the world (bugger off Barcelona) and importantly put themselves in a position to win the league. Yeah, the bunch of kids are actually men of steel. Hardened steel. Maybe only the Greek Spartans could have rivaled them.

Here's to the fallen Gunner.
Here's to all the Gooners who shed tears and chanted and hailed and stood by Arsenal through the victory and pain.
Here's to Arsenal FC!
Here's to our very own AARON RAMSEY aka RAMBO!

One rotten egg is all it takes

I know how emotional one can get when one's team loses badly. I can understand it will be difficult to bear taunts from rivals ( especially since they like to rub it in ). But can this be tolerated?

Calls to rape or f*** some guy's girl friend?!! Holy cow! This is not just stooping to inhuman levels, this is something more than that and I don't have words for it! We can't blame the uncivilized anymore for this kind of behavior..even the 'civilized' do it. Give em a chance and they'll lose all the morality they have. Just goes to show how degenerate people can get. And how easily that is. Cyber laws are being taken for granted:so what do we make of it? What if these were legit threats? Who would deal with it? I know these are open ended questions that need to be answered real quick. Maybe publicity for such incidents will help gain traction for better laws, laws that cannot be taken for granted.

Appendix to this post -

What I find surprising is that, cyber threats are considered more as a threat to 'consumers' not the people. When I say 'people', I mean their personal safety, their lives. I am inclined to believe that people do not understand how real threats to a person's life/integrity can be. Firms like McAfee/Adobe/Symantec ( and the like ) do not comprehend the possible gravity of the situation. This one line sums it all - Cyber criminals increasingly leverage the news of the day to attack unsuspecting consumers. One's personal integrity ain't ones bank account numbers, not their e-mail ids and not their personal details as seen on any social networking site. Wouldn't you think?

In defence of Kevin Carter

This Pulitzer prize winning picture shook the conscience of the world in 1993. And as with anything that radical, criticism did follow.
A member of the Bang-Bang club, Kevin Carter was already famous with his fellow mates for uncovering unimaginable atrocities happening in Africa before 1993. I don't know if he was motivated by fame or was just rash. That is a moot point. That is no point actually. When this photo was released to the press, people were appalled all over the world to see the conditions in Africa ( its still no different. Please note I am not trying to discredit the United Nations. They are doing more than they could ever do to save the forsaken place ). The picture did generate the right kind of press. But along with it came the critics. The questions that started popping around were - why did Kevin leave the little girl in the parched land without helping? He was accused of 'waiting for the right moment' to get the photograph to be as 'dramatic' as it is. He was also accused of tampering the picture. Soon, his personal life was uncovered:he did drugs, had unstable relationships...yada yada yada.

Who are these people? What right do they have to question his conscience? Have they ever been to Africa? Can't believe the nerve of these people to rake up his personal life. So what if he did drugs? This man witnessed unimaginable things. Things like 'necklacing'. Had the courage to stick to a profession that was a constant threat to his life. And for whatever reason it might be, he did uncover them. So how do these armchair critics get the right to comment about the rightness or wrongness of the picture or Kevin himself? Have they ever been in such a position themselves? Are they peers in the same profession who have witnessed the same as Kevin?Have they even tried to put themselves in Kevin's place,or his frame of mind? I know what would happen to me if I'd put myself in his frame of mind. Explode and self destruct...that is what would happen. No self righteous person would be even able to comprehend the meaning of the photo beyond what it was meant to. Anything beyond is just plain academic ( plain stupid that is ) for the sake of doing it or for a living ( if it for a living, maybe it is partially justified ). People need to shut up if they can't do anything but complain about it. So what I am saying is that this picture and Kevin are beyond such bourgeois questioning. The man's dead. He killed himself unable to bear the trauma of what he saw in his life ( and also because of personal issues ). No amount of LSD/opium/pot/heroin would ever give relief to this kind of pain. Maybe death did. How 'convenient' for the critics right? So lay off him.
